Why Reclaimit exists

Every week, thousands of people in the UK lose money to bank transfer fraud. Most of them do the right things — they call their bank, they report it, they wait. And then they get a letter that says "we've investigated and found no grounds for reimbursement."

What most of those people don't know is that since October 2024, the rules changed fundamentally. The Payment Systems Regulator now requires banks to reimburse most APP fraud victims up to £85,000. Banks are required to engage with these claims seriously. And the Financial Ombudsman Service has a strong track record of overturning unfair refusals.

The problem isn't the rules. The problem is that most victims don't know the rules exist, don't know how to invoke them, and don't know how to present their case in a way that gets taken seriously.

Reclaimit exists to close that gap. We're not a claims management firm. We don't take percentages. We don't represent clients or make submissions on their behalf.
